I have a Pentium 4 and 2 hard drives with over 75% free in one and 80% free
in the other and I am getting messages that my memory is low. Does anyone
know how to increase it.

R.click my computer,properties,advanced,performance,virtual-memory
click the change button. Then select from custom,"let windows manage" fo
C: and the slave drive,click set 2X for each.Then close-out,if you performe
this correctly you'll be prompted to restart computer.

Jim,
You appear to have what MS calls "Memory Leak". That
turns out to be sloppy shutdowns from some current
software. The shutdown leaves pieces of code (Program
strings) in RAM. Each new one slows the memory swapping
more and more due to loss of available space.
To check if I am right, reboot (to empty RAM) and check
the system speed. Also Win98 has a good write-up on the
problem in the MS Inteligence area
Things like "RAM Rocket", a small program (~$35) and
similar will keep cleaning the RAM for you, to Fix.
