Visual Calendar Capability?

Does Access allow you to take events and export it into a visual calendar,
similar to Project, but with more flexibility?

Example:
Season Event Date
Spring Dance 5/1/07
Fall Ball 8/15/07

I would have a list such as the above, and I would like to somehow
differentiate between spring and fall, such as make them different colors.

I would like to be able to export into something similar to the Excel
calendar templates so that it is flexible with formatting, such as, I might
want to make some weeks smaller than others. MS Project doesn't give that
type of flexibility.

Microsoft Project is an relatively heavy-duty project management software
package; it is certainly not a "visual calendar."

Yes, you can create an Access database that works in conjunction with
Microsoft Excel. The capabilities depend on the versions and releases of
Access and Excel being used. A tutorial on the subject would be far beyond
the scope of a newsgroup response.

You can use Google Groups to search the archives for "calendar form" or
"calendar report" to see if those may meet your needs. You can use
Conditional Formatting, or your own VBA code, to change the colors of
information in Access' Reports, depending on their values.
