Visual BAsic application in the database is corrupt

I get this message when I try to exit Access. It won't let the database close
- only way I can close it is through the tack manager possibly losing last
entered data.

Your database is corrupt. I sure hope you have a backup - you will probably
need it!

You may be able to salvage the non-corrupt parts by creating a new, empty
database and using File... Get External Data... Import. I'd do this right away
with the tables, before even *trying* to repair the database; the repair
process might not succeed and might end up destroying your data.
