Hi all,
thought I would finally share my experience, shortly after vista was
released I purchased new hardware and started my install of my nice new
Vista Ultimate, after a week of headaches I finally got it to install.
It was very unreliable, reboots kept locking up and in the end I returned to
XP.
Yesterday, I found a bios update for my motherboard, flashed it, then
reinstalled vista.
A) it installed first time
b) the reliability has improved 150%, it is now a joy to use!
The moral of the story is people should not blame vista, but the hardware
they are using it on, I guess my need
to jump on the band wagon and be the first to use it didn't pay off!!!!, now
hardware vendors are finally updating drivers/bios for the OS, I hope your
experience will become good too!!
