Vista/WORD/as attachments

With Windows 2000 and word, used to be able to send mail " as attachment"
but with vista it is no longer an option. Any solutions? It only sends as a
copy which is not correct format for recipients.
 
Message | Forward as attachment works. You can also drag another message
overtop a message in composition and it will attach it.
