My windows mail and picture gallery etc. do not have the option to delete in
the tool bars. I do not like right clicking to be the only option for
deleting. Is there a way to place an "X" in the tool bar for deleting?

You can add a delete icon to the toolbar in Windows Mail by right-clicking
the toolbar and selecting "Customize".

In Picture Gallery click File>Delete.

Select the file(s) you want deleted and hit the delete key on the keyboard.

some people have only one hand
because they are disabled....

Many people are confined to movements done with the mouse, and the harder it
is to reach a command the worse it is.

By not having customizable menus and toolbars almost everywhere in vista
they have successfully made the worst non user friendly and hardest OS to
use for the disabled,
the bad colors and fonts for the visually impaired...
and UAC windows that appear 1000 times per day that is the worse thing a
person who has RSI could encounter,

Microsoft was stupid enough to hide the useful features but added stupid
useless sidebars that are in your face.. why? because competitors had
similar technology... similar but better.. lol

I would love people to gang up and sue MS for making the worst thought out
OS of the century.

You must install, uninstall or delete 1000 times per day if you're getting
that many confirmation messages. Sorry it's so difficult for you to click
your mouse button. As a self-taught disabled old dog, I really feel sorry
for you, man. Anyone with just one good hand will tell you that it's the
spacing of the keys on the keyboard that hinders, not the software! LOL

The more virus writers try to outsmart users, the more their software is
expected to protect them. People (users) demanded better security, and now
we have it. Just because some of you think it isn't worth the trouble to
understand new technology is no reason to put down others for being self
educated on the latest software.

By the way, Vista has more added features to make it more user friendly for
the disabled than previous versions of Windows. Next time, try a little
mustard for that foot. LOL

You come accross as a snob.
Are you a system engineer that could do better? If yes, then we'd all
like to see your solution that is 100% user-friendly for 100% of the
installed user base.

No thats what I expect from the leading company who has billions of dollars
and thousands of top programers...

that said, yes I could probably come up with an innovative smart way in less
than a day.. LOL

By the way, they say they are going to DITCH the stupid UAC in windows 7
I wonder why? Is it perhaps because its THE MOST FRIKIN IRRITATING THING IN
THE GALAXY????

Thats totally CRAP! you have no idea what the heck you are talking about.

Vista's new main feature is that it does not work. By having the computer
closed all the time because nothing works, that helps the disabled do other
more interesting things with their lives. Microsoft CARES.

Whats your problem chum? What I say comes out of feedback from people who
have the problems.

I can use any OS without a problem... this is not about me.

LOL, you know more know what you're talking about than the man under the
bridge. You should crawl on your hands and knees back across the bridge
to Linux. You don't deserve to sit on any bridge.

Let me see,

Are you Spanky aka Kevpan aka the Newsgroup moron *thats the most probable
option*
OR
Frank, the village idiot?

You cant be alexb, you are not making any racist nazi insults...

Or you could be an original talent, attracted to this newsgroup by Vistas
awful quality.
you know this newsgroup has a good collection of assorted nuts.

Here's one of the more intriguing tidbits in the hundreds of pages of emails
released as part of the Vista "junk PC" lawsuit: A Microsoft exec freely
admits that users are so annoyed with User Account Control (UAC), that
they're turning it off en masse.

The recently unsealed Microsoft emails are part of the lawsuit against
Microsoft for a marketing scheme in which people claim that Microsoft misled
consumers into buying the Windows Vista Capable PCs, even though the PCs
couldn't run the most important features of Vista.

John Kalkman, who admitted in one of the emails that Microsoft launched the
Vista Capable PC scheme in order to help Intel meet its quarterly earnings,
had this to say about UAC in a February, 2007 email:

Biggest thing I'm worried about [concerning Vista uptake] is UAC (user
access control). It looks like more and more people are turning off (based
on advice from websites) for easier friction free use.

By the way, notice that even Microsoft execs can't remember the proper name
of this feature -- it's user account control, not user access control.

It's nice that Microsoft execs know people hate UAC. But nicer still would
be if they would fix it.

Frank what can I say. You can twist a crazed lunatic's mind like no
other. You are the man. I got her nose wide open for you today. <VBG>

Oh, I see, *your* opnion is based on second-hand complaints, whereas *my*
opinion is actual first-hand one-handed experience! LOL

As a disabled Vista user, I can state, for the record, that have a lot of
experience with the Onboard Keyboard, which nearly completely eliminates the
need for an actual hardware keyboard. If you can use a mouse, you can use
Vista. Ok? The only function missing from the Onboard (Virtual) Keyboard are
the Hot Keys added to some models of hardware keyboards.

In fact, I used it to reply to you in this very post, as usual. Obviously,
you must be right, I couldn't possibly have any idea what I'm talking about,
even when I'm using the very technology I'm talking about. LOL

By the way, did you know you can even pin it to the start menu? If you need
it, you don't need to run to the Control Panel to get it. You might also be
interested in the FACT that Microsoft sells a branded wireless mouse with a
built-in Magnifier button, for the visually impaired, so you don't even need
to pin that one! There's even the High Contrast themes, available since
Win9x, for anyone who is color-blind.

Don't tell me about Vista not being compatible with disabled users, I know
better!

Ubuntu has had these features LONG before Vista was a gleam in Steve
Ballmer's eye.

True, they definitely have billions of dollars.

Untrue. Their top programmers left a long time ago.

Cheers.
