When I tried to delete mail from my Junk and Deleted folders I get an Unknown
Error Occured, and I can delete nothing, individually, or in groups. Any new
suggestions?

Unless it is actually preventing you from using Windows Mail,
I would try to ignore it. There is a 'fix', but it is temporary at best,
and requires a certain amount of expertise with using the
Windows Explorer file manager.
If you still want to try it, search on recent posts by Dave Cochran
or myself that have the sentence: "The only solution so far is to
wipe out the database."

Gary,
I have read your postings, but I was unabled to move(deleted) the hidden
windows mail because it contains 3 files (edb.log, tmp.edb and
WindowsmailMSMessagesStore) which I could not move(deleted) - because these
files seemed to be used by an other process(????)

Any hints

thanks for your help

Kurt

Make sure Windows Mail is closed and not running.
Double-check by going to the Task Manager (Ctrl-Shift-Esc).
