Hi MM,

The error message is coming from Outlook Web Access rather than from Vista,
as such (that error text is defined in OWA's login.asp as
"L_ErrorClearCerts_Text")

First thing to look at, is whether the Exchange administrator has applied
the 911829 hotfix to the Exchange server:

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...8a-08eb-4976-bc68-a03ebe3a2552&displaylang=en

This patch to the server seems pretty much essential for Exchange to support
OWA clients on Vista. If your problem comes from a missing 911829, there's
nothing you can configure on the workstation end, your email guys need to
fix it. Although, someone here posted a similar problem a few weeks back.
They had worked around the issue, by using Firefox for OWA instead of IE.
Could be worth a shot ...

If your Exchange guys have 911829 installed and you're still seeing the
problem, then some further troubleshooting could be required.

Hope it helps,

I did a search on Google - "Outlook Web Access problems Vista Ultimate"
+2007 +2006 -2005
and this is what I found..

Thank you Thank you

I have a laptop with Vista, and my web access outlook would crash every time
I tried to send an email. I tried all the patches posted above and nothing
worked until I read this post. I downloaded Firefox and like magic it is
working!!

Thanks for the tip I never would have thought this one on my own but it is a
great idea!!!
