Hi I would like to know if I can install 64bit over 32bit. Or can I do a
repair and install 64bit. I found out today my Pentium4 processor is 64bit.
Its a 630 processor. Any help would be appreciated. I have 3gb ram. Thanks.

You can't do an upgrade. You have to do a clean install and reinstall
all your programs (make sure they'll work with the 64-bit version first!)
If you have 3 GB RAM, there not much advantage to running the 64-bit
version anyway. It's only when you get over 4GB that the real advantage
shows up.

You'll have to do a clean install of Vista 64, there's no update path.

Make sure you have all the drivers you'll need for your hardware BEFORE
doing anything!

You might be wise to install Vista 64 on a separate partition of your
harddrive and dual boot until you're sure Vista 64 will work for you.

Excellent advice, XS11E.
