Vista RTM install complaining about Windows SharePoint Services (WSS)

Can't get past the compatibility check. I've never had WSS installed on this
machine. So I started un-installing one thing after another attempting to
find what Vista installer is complaining about but no luck. I've
un-installed SQL Server 2k5, Visual Studio 2k5, Various Office 2007
components, Live Writer. I've tried using the Windows Install Clean Up
utility but it doesn't find anything related to WSS. Any Suggestions?
 
I am coming across this same problem, and can't find my way around it. Can
you let me know if you end up finding a solution?
