Vista registry

I deleted a key in my Vista registry with regedit. However, this
software I wrote still

reads the key. How is this possible?
 
Hi Bob,

Some Registry keys can be deleted and on reboot are recreated.
BTW, if someone tries to test this be sure and EXPORT the branch first.
