Does Vista support DOS programs ?
Only I seem to remember it being said that XP would be
the last Windows version to support DOS.

DOS has been "gone" in Windows for quite some time now.

Windows Vista (and XP for that matter, not to mention Windows 2000 before
that) has a command line system which works pretty much like DOS and will
support it as much as it can - but no guarantees.

In english this means that batch job you wrote for making copies of your
important files will probably still work (but test it carefully), but that
old DOS game or other really complex thing probably won't work too well. 64
bit Vista will offer less support for old DOS stuff than 32 bit Vista.

If it worked well in XP it stands a reasonable chance of working in 32 bit
Vista.
