I need to keep two vista machines in sync with regard to e-mail and other
Office 2007 files. With regard to E-mail can I just copy the PST file to and
fro? How do I stop e-mail that are not on a given machine downlowding again
even if the current pst file has been copied and all e-mails are up to date.
I don't want a zilloin duplictions each time I copy a pst file from on pc to
an another.

Thanks

Just make sure that both instances of Outlook are set to remove mail from
the server - the default setting. Outlook can't download what's not there!

dThanks Gordon. Where do I fing the default settings in OL2007 just to check
they are both set as you suggest.

Tools-Account Settings, highlight the account, click on Change, and then
More Settings. On he Advanced tab is a setting to keep a copy on the
server - just check that that is NOT ticked. (It usually is not, unless you
or someone has deliberately set that...)
