In Outlook Express, click on the Tools menu at the top of the
window.
From the menu that drops down, click on Newsgroups.
This should bring up the Newsgroup Subscription box.
Hit the "Reset List" button.
Once the newsgroups list has been updated, enter Vista in the
box under "Display newsgroups which contain".
If your news server is carrying the Vista newsgroups you will
find them listed at the bottom of the list.

If after searching your current news server you're still not
able to access any Vista newsgroups click on one of these
links. It should set you up with an account for the Microsoft
news server.

Thanks for the links. My news server gives me nothing with regard
to vista. I guess I'll have to go directly to "the horses mouth".
The at&t news server only carries about 36,000 groups out of the
total list. Last I heard it was over 100,000. Another black mark
against at&t.
