Vista MSDN DVD vs. Retail DVD, same disc ?

Hi,

Just wondering, I'm on MSDN, going to nuke a XP box this weekend (working
over the weekend) and put my MSDN vista on it. I have a few retail DVDs
sitting around here, so I didn't download the image.

Can I install the MSDN version with the retail DVD ?

Just wondering to save my self a headache when I nuke the box this
weekend...

Are you asking if the MSDN version is the same version as on the retail DVD ?
If not, how would you install the MSDN version without having downloaded the image and burned it to dvd ?

I believe he is asking, if he can use his MSDN keys on the Retail Vista DVD,
instead of having to download the DVD(s) from MSDN. So if already has the
DVD from another install, could he just use that DVD.

I want to say yes, but I don't have any way to test it to be sure.

AFAIK, MSDN and retail are the same.
I have successfully used a retail DVD with an MSDN key.
 
Didn't get time to do it yet but, that is what I was hoping to hear. Thanks
for your help !!!!
