I get this message when I try to play the WMP in Vista, " An audio device was
disconnected or re-configured. Verify that the audio device is connected and
then try to play the item again"
I dont understand the message as the only device connected tothe pc are the
2 speakers. The drivers for the audio are installed as shown by the
D.Manager. The MP seems to be playing but there is no sound coming out of the
speakers or headphone( connected to test the functionality og the speakers
etc) Is there any tweak that I need to do... thansk in advance

Have you checked to make sure you have the latest Vista compatible drivers
from your soundcard maunfacturere's website? Also check as some such
drivers are still in beta or only handle basic functions which indicates the
drivers are still in development by the soundcard manufacturer and some
issues may not be fixed until the full function drivers are available.

I know that my system will say the same thing if my speakers or headphones
are unplugged. I would try plugging in a set of headphones or different
speakers and see what result you get.
