whenever I open vista mail, I always have to maximise it. Is there a way to
get it to open as a full screen?

Drag the edges of the small version that opens now to the size that you want
it to be(full screen).
It should stay that way when you re-open it.

Drag the edges of the small version that opens now to the size that you want
it to be, but dont press the full screen button, then press shift at the
same time you press the close button with your mouse

that will force windows to remember the size

With Ubuntu, no need for that. You set the window of any program to max
and when you reopen it, it still is set at max.

Yes, but with Ubuntu you can't run any real programs. Just FREE crap that
isn't up to community standards. You get what you pay for. Ubuntu is FREE
and the people don't want it. What does that tell you about the product.
Must be inferior. Of course it is. For real work use XP or Vista.

Translation: Bill Yawn is too stupid to install Ubuntu so he disses it
every chance he gets.

More of your stupidity for all to see?
Don't you ever get tired of making a complete and utter fool out of
yourself in public?
I guess not.
