Is it possible to synchronize vista mail on two computers other than leaving
the messages on the server?

Thanks for the reply. I'm wondering if it's possible, since both mail
accounts are on vista computers, to simply move the eml files between the
two computers. Is it as simple as that to synchronize the mail accounts?

It's very clumsy, and prone to corrupting the message index.
If you are only interested in both computers receiving all
incoming messages, that is easily accomplished.
Go to Tools, Accounts, select your mail account, Properties, Advanced,
select "Leave a copy of messages on server." Depending on how
much server space your ISP allows, you may want to select one or
both of the two associated 'remove' options.

Repeat the above on the second computer.

Thanks, Gary. How about sent messages? Any solution for having them on both
computers.
Back to syncing the folders, would any of the commercial programs work?

If you can remember, BCC yourself on every message you send.

I'm not aware of any commercial programs that will do what
you want. There are full-fledged mail backup/restore programs,
but that's not true syncing.

The IMAP and HTTP protocols will do true syncing. You can get
a free Gmail IMAP account and configure your existing email
address to auto-forward to it.
