(Background: I have two computer systems side-by-side; one is Windows
2000/Pro, running fine for years, and the other is Vista Ultimate, running
fine for days. I have converted the Vista computer to the Classic mode, to
make it appear as similar to the Windows 2000/Pro as possible.)

Question: How does one cause an open IE webpage to refresh automatically
every X minutes?

I don't remember how I set that up (years ago) on my W-2000/Pro system, but
certain webpages there seem to do that automatically. I have not found a
way to arrange that on my new Vista system.

Best regards to all.

Pages that do that automatically have a meta refresh tag in the head section of the page.
There is a setting in IE > Security to allow or disallow meta refresh.
Tools > Internet Options > Security Tab > Internet > Custom level

For a client side app that can refresh "any" page, I happen to have an app I've created that I'm letting a few
people beta test at the moment.
