Each time I send an email, an email comes back to me showing that the person
read it. I cannot figure out how to delete this action. Does anyone out there
have this figured out?

In Windows Mail, go to the Tools menu and then to Options.
On the Receipt tab, uncheck the box "Request a read receipt for all sent items"

Your recipients will appreciate it more than you do if you use this option only when you need it.

That's a read receipt.
Tools - Options - Receipts
uncheck [ ] Request a read receipt for all sent messages
OK
