Since MS is gonna miss the X-Mas selling season anyway, they are better
off not rushing to meet any deadline and put out the best OS possible,
if they were smart.

It too early for 2007 XMAS. They are perfecting on WGA technology in
VISTA.

ROFL! MS couldn't perfect WGA if they tried.

Yes they can, if they get rid of it...

Snip

Don't be silly why bother with WGA when nobody who matters will
install Vista anyway.

Kurts right they need to make sure its damn good out of the box
otherwise MSFT stock will go a lot lower than 1% down. 2008 would be
more realistic; according to MSFTs own employee's blogs it is a train
wreck at the moment.

You are EXACTLY who MS is marketing to. IE: the persons who just cant
wait for the next MS OS.

Today kurttrail commented courteously on the subject at hand

Seems like "If you are lucky you don't have to have to be smart,
but if you're smart you don't have to be lucky" applies here. M
$ is hardly smart, but they are damn lucky, damn lucky people
don't sue 'em!

As to "put out the best OS possible", that would be when, since
maybe DOS 3?

As a stockholder, I disagree.

Sell what you've got. The company needs the revenue.

Then you are a very short-sighted investor.
