T Tim Thein Feb 19, 2007 #3 1. right-click on clock in taskbar 2. select Adjust Date/Time from pop-up menu 3. click on "Change time zone..." button 4. select your time zone from the "Time zone" pull down menu. 5. click OK buttons until there's no more OK buttons.

That would be logical except for the fact that mine was in U.S. Pacific Standard Time by default (as it was in previous versions of Windows as well). An ego boost for the folks in Redmond, Washington I suppose.....
