vista business - eliminate shadow around the windows

For me the visual noise of the shadow around the windows is very annoying.
How do I remove the shadow?
 
Hi,

For sure Control Panel -> System and Maintenance -> System -> Advanced
system settings -> Visual Effects tab -> Enable desktop composition

But with this option you'll remove other effects too.
