Ok so if I select some files, and hit the Burn button on the toolbar, nothing
at all happens. Just wanted a fix for this. Checked the drives Properties
in My Computer and it's set as the default recording device.
It's a BenQ DVD-R/RW
Thanks.
It depends what you want to "burn". When I first installed Vista I
tested what it could do. For example, you can easily drag and drop mP3
files and make a DVD. Assumes you won't run into copy protection
issues for the songs you are copying.
Direct Media Player to some folder where you have audio files if it
doesn't already open in such a folder. Click on the burn button. A new
window pane should open at the far right. Drag the titles you want on
the DVD to the "drag items here" section at the far right, then click
on the start burn button. Its that simple. Assumes you have or you
will put a blank unformated CD or DVD in you computer of course. ;-)
What else you can do depends on what version of Vista you have. I'm
using the business version. For example the boneheads at Microsoft
decided that people paying $40 MORE to get the business version, would
never want to make a DVD movie, so you can't in the business version,
using only what's included with that version of Vista.
