I have install Vista 2 or 3 times.. it works fine for a couple of days and
then I start getting this error...
Bad_Pool_Caller
*** stop:0x000000c2 (0x00000007, 0x0000113d, 0x00090210,0x89001F40)

Once I get this error Vista disables itself from booting saying its for my
computers protection...?

I can boot into safemode but don't know what problem I am looking for or
where to start to trouble shoot. The last time I installed Vista it ran for 2
weeks perfectly and then I got this error again ... Help Pleasssssse. Would
appreciate any suggestion
Thanks, conradds

Hi,

Don't know how much help this will be, but the error indicates a driver
problem. I would recommend that you try installing bare bones, with no
non-essential hardware connected. Things like sound cards, tv tuners, and
other after market peripherals that are not Vista-compliant are all suspect.
If all goes well for a week, then start re-adding the peripherals one at a
time, letting them go for a week or so before adding the next one.

I had a similar problem with XP on a Mercury motherboard. It sounds like
you may have a hardware that is either going bad or is not compatible with
Vista.

It is a memory problem. I had this very same issue and I replace my
memory..............no more problem.
