My software is compatible with Vista-32 bit. Will it be compatible with
Vista business? Can you summarize the basic difference between the 2
versions?

And why post to a winxp group?
Visit MS Site>Vista>Differences

Apples and Oranges.

Vista comes in 4 "editions" - Home Basic, Home Premium, Business, and
Ultimate.

For a comparison, see
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windows-vista/compare-editions/default.aspx

Vista, like some other Microsoft operating systems, also comes in both
32-bit and 64-bit versions (for each of the 4 editions). For
differences between 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Vista, see

Your question makes no sense (and since it's about Vista, doesn't
belong in an XP newsgroup) It's like saying that mammals can drink
milk, and asking whether cows can drink it.

Vista comes in five editions: Home Basic, Home Premium, Business,
Ultimate, and Enterprise. Each of those editions comes in both 32-bit
versions and 64-bit versions.

Can you summarize the basic difference between the 2
versions?

That's like asking us to summarize the difference between a mammal and
a cow. A cow is a *type* of mammal, just as 32-bit is a type of the
Business edition.

If your version of Vista Business is 32-bit, yes, it will be compatible.
If it's a 64-bit version, the answer is no.

And without joking, if you have to ask, your version of Vista Business is
almost certainly 32-bit.

Here is a chart with differences between 32 and 64-bit Vista versions, and
how to tell which yours is:
