Visioneer Strobe XP 200

I'm having problems installing a new Visioneer Strobe XP
200 scanner on my Windows 2000 Professional PC. Seems
that Windows 2000 wants to load its driver and Visioneer
wants to load its driver. A conflict exits between the
two. The package says that this scanner is designed for
Windows XP. I can't find it in the hardware compability
list for Windows 2000. Any suggestions on how to get it
installed properly?
