Visioneer 8900 scanner

I am having some problems with my visioneer 8900 scanner. The Onetouch
program that comes with it (so you can configure the buttons on the scanner
for email programs, printing, etc) was working fine when I was using it with
Windows Me, but since I installed XP Pro, the configuration doesn't work.
It is supposed to list all the programs that are compatible (such as Outlook
Express for email, or Paintshop Pro for a graphics program) but the only
software it shows when I try to configure it is the Paperport software.
Anyone else have this problem, and how did you fix it?

Go to the manufacturuer web page and see if there are updates for Windows
XP?
 
I have done that, installed all the updates, installed them from scratch,
etc. All to no avail.
