We are using a PDF creation tool called ExpertPDF from Visage.

The problem we have discovered is that once printed to, the Visage PDF
Printer then becomes the default printer. Is this because it is deemed
a local printer and Windows assumes we wish to print to it rather than
a network printer?

Does anyone know of a way to stop this from happening?

Thanks,

Matt

What does Visage tech support say?

I've used that software. Think you have to stop the pdf printer server
starting up each boot (you can uncheck its entries via msconfig or delete
them via the registry). Then you can start up the pdf server manually when
you need it.

There's an entry via the start > All Programs > Visage ... menu to start
the server when you need it.

You can also use File > Page Setup within a document to switch printers

Thanks Jon, I'll give that a try.
