I got an email today ffrom microsoft saying that there is
a new virus called spyware and I am suppost to go to
spywarescan.com to see if I have it. THey said if you
have it your computer will run really slow and act funny
and my computer has been acting very weird. Any help
would be appreciated......

Do not fall for this it is not microsoft,some viruses

today can be installed without you doing anything(opening
a exe. file sent to you is old news).An e/mail html can
install one, update your virus scanner and do a system
check.Good luck

Microsoft does not send out patches or Virus warnings. Ever. Only trust
virus warnings from an known Anti-Virus vendor and then only if you're
on thier maillng list. Always verifiy warnings from friends and other
people at a known Anti-Virus vendor website.
