Virus?

I think i have a virus on my computer, I recieved the RPC Doom notice and cliked cancel, my computer screen turned blue and then returned to normal, as of the moment I am unable to get on the internet, I have DSL and my service is not down, I have home networking and the other computers are able to access the internet. Did i actually get a virus? What can I do to fix it.

It could be the Blaster worm or Mydoom virus. If so, here's what to
do:

1. Disconnect your computer from the network.

2. Download these removal tools on another computer and write them to
a floppy disk or CD-ROM:

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...e4-3d50-464d-a26c-9c287f8a08c5&displaylang=en

3. Run the removal tools on your computer.
