I have the W32.Netsky.P@mm and I don't know how to get it off.... I've
went to the symantec website, and looked for a removal tool, and there was
one... but when I downloaded it, and ran it.... I said that I didn't have
the W32.Netsky.P@mm worm.... is there another way I can get rid of it...
without having to, wipe out the computer?
 
My suggestion: Before you resort to a destructive (to
programs and data) clean installation, try using the free
online scans offered by other security companies.
Type "free online virus scans" into a Google query box
(www.google.com), and see all the results. There are
many from which to choose. Use several.
