Norton AntiVirus 2004 says I am infected by:

W32Beagle.J@MM whatever the heck that is and Norton
can't fix it...

What are my options?

Can Microsoft send me a fix for this thng?

Thanks

Chick

W32.Beagle is a mass-mailing worm that you could have avoided by regularly
updating your virus definitions and by configuring NAV to start with Windows
and run in the background.

From Symantec Security Response:

"The W32.Beagle.J@mm worm:
a.. Is a mass-mailing worm that opens a backdoor on TCP port 2745 and uses
its own SMTP engine to spread through email.
b.. Sends the attacker the port on which the backdoor listens, as well as
the IP address.
c.. Attempts to spread through file-sharing networks, such as Kazaa and
iMesh, by dropping itself into the folders that contain "shar" in their
names."

If you had configured and used Norton AV properly, you could have cleaned
it. Have you visited their website for the removal tool?
