Virus

When I type the word virus into a search engine by itself,
I am kicked of Internet Explorer; is this some kind of
thing that is not allowed, or is it possible it is a sign
I have a virus? I went to troubleshooters & FAQs/Windows
XP/then the second option about computer viruses on
microsoft.com; I did this three times in a row, and got
kicked off each time. I am not getting kicked off
otherwise.
In addition, my computer keeps saying files are infected.
I have ran Ad-Aware(from microsoft website) and deleted
some things as a result of that.

Ad-Aware is just for that adware NOT viruses
