Virus

I have XP and ran Norton had two detections one was
deleted the other cannot be says it is trojan c:\Program
Files\Common Files\Simss\simss exe - when I try to access
it says I cannot.

How do I get rid of this? Would appreciate any tips you
may have.

Dear Lauren,

Please try booting into Safe Mode and then run Norton AV again to delete
the infected file.

If Norton is still unable to delete the file when you are booted in Safe
Mode, delete the file manually in Safe mode.

AV vendors occasionally recommend disabling System Restore when attempting
to clean a known virus under some circumstances.
