Virus Checker and Activex

Hi guys,
Can anyone explain why my virus checker picks up Active X components, on my
windows machine, and what can i do to correct the problem
Advice and help appreciated

What activex components?
Can you provide a name?

Go into internet options/settings/view objects
to look at the activex objects installed.

They can be uninstalled from there if necessary.
