I recently visited a porn site and then suddenly my
computer keeps automatically switching to another
browser. Freednshost or something like that. Then when I
run two different virus scans and a registry fixer thing,
the problem does not go away. And then I get these new
icons put on the desktop about poker and debt relief. No
matter what, they keep reappearing. And then when I click
the start button, there's a new icon in the top where it
says launch internet explorer. It's an icon about those
poker things again. You should include virus protection
that works. Eventually I went to the site, this
FREEDNHOST, or whatever, and they had a note about "Sorry
for the problem" "It's not our fault" and "please
download this product for free" and it will fix the
problem. Well, the unwanted icons are gone. The pop up
pages are gone, but now sometimes I get that same
FREEDNSHOST thing as part of my Yahoo brouser address.
SBCGLOBAL/FREEDNSHOST/something or other. HOw can I get
rid of this little bug once and for all? WEll, that's a
tech question. SO, what I mean to say is that this XP
should have a patch that rids the system once and for all
of these garbage annoying things that automatically get
loaded on the computer when you're not looking. It makes
me wonder what else is going on? Maybe they're using my
computer right now for some scary purpose unbeknownst to
me?
