I have tried to find an answer to this by searching before posting, without
success, so please do be kind if I have missed a link to the following.
I have a couple of programs which have been running smoothly on my old 98SE
system, but I fear that the system's days are numbered. I get the sense that
Virtual PC would be a viable solution to allowing me to continue to run those
non-backward compatible programs on an XP Pro system, but I am concerned when
I read about need for somewhat (to me) obscure tweaks which need to be made
with network adapters, etc. if I want to allow the guest 98SE system to run
on the XP system and share internet and network access.
As such, aside from coming back with more queries here, if anyone knows of a
"Virtual PC for Dummies" site, I'd be most appreciative of any leads.
Thanks in advance, and again, apologies for such a basic inquiry.
