I'm sorry, I must be getting confused!

You state in your first post you have a 30 gig HD, then you
say you have 30 gig of free space?

Go to Control Panel - System - Advanced - Performance; click Settings -
Advanced - Virtual Memory; click Change.

Select the C: drive where the pagefile is, take Custom and set the
Maximum size up to 3072 (ie 3MB), click Set and in OKing out click
Apply wherever it is offered.

It is an *awful* lot of virtual memory for a single program, but still.
You may find you need also to edit the boot.ini file - at Control Panel
- System - Advanced - Startup and Error, click Settings, and there the
Edit. On the line for the system that ends /fastdetect, add a space and
/3GB and save. But do not do so unless it proves essential

More usually that sort of figure is the amount of free Hard disk space,
and I would make *quite* sure that this is not what it is asking for.
