in the last couple of days I have been notified by pop up
msg saying my "Virtual memory is too low" my disk space
is more than half and 256 ram. what is this mean and how
to solve it? please tell me

thank you

Disk space usually doesnt amount to much if C: drive is still used for th
paging file (virtual memory),a second hd added to the system and set as slave
you could move the paging file to the other hd. 256mb is actually low for xp,an
depending on what youre doing (music, video etc) its actually to low,xp will use th
paging file that much more.To eliminate, buy more ram,get a second hd and move th
paging file down the road.Try search at microsoft,type:30788

In the message, does it say "Windows Messager" on top of the box?
And what exactly is the message? Does it ask you to visit some web site to
solve the problem?
