Can anyone help? Am running windows XP with MS Works and I am having problems
opening files - when I come to open an attachment that I know is ok and works
on other PCs, it tells me that there is not enough virtual memory available
and that I should close down other programs then try again.
I have plenty of memory in the computer, the PC has only been doing this for
the past few months and it seems selective as to what files it does and
doesn't want to open - tried opening a file just 38.5kb big but didn't want
to play......
Not sure if it helps but I have got Ad aware, Spybot and also run Norton
system doctor every start up - one of the sensors on the Norton screen shows
page file size at 384mb and this figure seems constant - is this any sign
that something is set wrong?
