Hi,

I'm searching a program (XP), which mirros a local folder to a drive
letter. I wanna have full access to the mirrored files, so a prgram which
makes a backup copy or an image file won't do it.

Thanks a lot,
Raul

- [Win]+[R] (Start - Run)
- diskmgmt.msc
- right click on partition that you want to mirror
- click on "Change letter or path"
- Specify an existing folder
- Ok
Thanks a lot,
no problem ;)

Or if you want to map a folder to a drive letter, use "SUBST" command

Well, actually that's nearly what I wanted to do. I didn't know that XP
still has got the subst command, this reminds me of the old Win 3.11 times
;-)

In my case, I need a little bit more than just a drive, I need a CD-ROM or
DVD Drive (I forgot to tell). I'm creating a DVD and want to test it
without always creating ISO files...

Does anybody of you know a solution for this ?

DAEMON Tools is a virtual cd/dvd-rom emulator.

DAEMON Tools supports the following image files:
- cue/bin
- iso
- ccd (CloneCD)
- bwt (Blindwrite)
- mds (Media Descriptor File)
- cdi (Discjuggler)
- nrg (Nero)
- pdi (Instant CD/DVD)
- b5t (BlindWrite 5)

Well, I don't want to mount image files. I'm searching for a program, which
creates a virtual drive like subst does BUT as a DVD drive and not as a
"normal" hard drive. This is important for me cause my DVD software does
only play from those DVD drives.

Does anybody know a program like this ?
