Is it possible to use a view to display and edit fields
that are hierarchical in structure?
I have a custom form that posts a PO/Invoice type (similar
to subforms) dataset to a folder. Is it possible to create
a view that displays the header and allows you to drill
down to the detail line items? Thanks for any help.

No. Outlook items do not have an intrinsic hierarchical structure in their fields, and views reflect this. Any view shows the data from individual items only. It cannot show a drill down to related items.
