In W98SE I had my folders containing jpgs set so that when I clicked on a
file a preview generated on the left hand side of the files. Is there any
way I can get the same view in XP. I have them set as thumbnails at the
moment but would prefer to have the listing and a preview when I highlight
the file.

Lynn- XP should have the same feature. Change your view back to icons or
list or whatever, then try clicking on the Details bar to the left (double
"^" button) & your preview of the picture should drop down. You can also
minimize all the other bars to the left if you want for easy viewing.
Hope this helps.

Hi Neil
Tried that, it then give me the details of the pic within icon at the side
which has the PSP icon. It doesn't show the picture. The picture are set to
'open up' in Windows Picture and Fax Viewer had it set to this as it was
easy then to show pics as a slide show. Thought that might be the problem
was going to put it back to PSP but couldn't remember how to change it back.

Try changing the view to "tiles".

Thanks for that didn't see the 'details' to the left side until I minimised
the other bars on the left.
