Hello,
I cannot remember where to go in Active Directory to see
the sites that users log onto. We are running Windows 2000
Server. It is a small company.

Thanks.

That's not an AD feature (that I ever heard about) but
one supposes that an application like ISA could add
some such.

It wouldn't be a great design probably when a LOGFILE
would make more sense.

You might try your ISA or equivalent firewall server for
this info.

You can't - this isn't a function of AD. Your firewall or proxy server may
be able to log this for you, tho.

About the only thing you can do is look at the dns cache zone for your
domain controller which will give you an idea where users have been going
however it will not display what users went to those sites. Your dns server
will have to be doing internet name resolution via forwarders or root hints
in order for this to happen [which it should be] and you have to set
view/advanced to see the cached zone enabled. A better solution would be to
view the logs in your firewall/router. Many of even the cheapest ones these
days will log a suprising lot and give the IP address of the lan computer in
the elog. --- Steve
