Viewing video clips in a slide show?

I have a Dell 8300 with Windows XP Home. I learned how
to download pictures from my digital camera and view them
in a slide show. My camera can also take mini movies. I
am able to store those video clips into the same folder
with the still photos. However, I can only view the
photos in a slide show. The videos I am limited to
viewing in Windows Media separately from the slide show;
and one at a time. Is there a way to set up a slide show
that shows both my digital photos and my video clips
together? Where when the slide show reaches a video in
the set, it will automatically run the video clip (or
clips) when it's there turn to be viewed?

Thank you in advance.

Try using Windows Movie Maker...it is included with
Windows XP. Just go to...Start / Programs / Windows
Movie Maker.

There is a free download to update the Movie Maker
to the latest version. You can Add videos, images,
sound, transitions, titles, etc...and save the project
as a .wmv file that will play in Windows Media Player.
