Assuming IE - go to Tools-Internet Options-Advanced.
Scroll down to the Browsing section and make sure that the box "Re-use
windows for launching shortcuts" is unchecked.

Right click a link | Open in New Window

Internet Explorer | Tools | Internet Options | Advanced tab |
Uncheck: Reuse windows for launching shortcuts |
Click Apply | Click OK

[[Specifies that when you click a Web link in an Internet-aware program,
such as Outlook Express, and there is already an Internet Explorer window
open, the Web page appears in the open browser window instead of opening a
new window.]]

How does your answer actually answer the question. All you've done is give a reason why it's poison. Tabbed browsing. Are you too stupid to understand SDI. Piss off moron.
