Viewing shared calendar in 'Outlook Today'

Hi folks please help with a couple of questions.

1. Can I show my shared calendar on outlook today rather than the personal one?

2. If I accept an event will it update on the shared calendar or my personal one? I don't want to have to update everything twice, will it do both?
