viewing history offline

IE6 on XP Pro.

I can't view any of my history pages offline. I've
looked all over for a solution - a few people seem to
have the same problem, but there are no solutions posted
anywhere. Can anyone help? This is driving me crazy!

This fustrates me too
I've been watching this thread for a permanent fix, but nothing yet
I've had limited success by going
Tools>Internet Options...>Advanced>Restore Defaults>Apply>OK. (while offline
or
Tools>Internet Options...>Advanced>Show Friendly urls>Apply>OK. (While offline
I don't know why the Restore Defaults even gets highlighted when I never change anything and should still be default set
Please tell me how you go, as I'm curious about this
Maybe post again, there has to be someone who knows a permanent fix for this
