Viewing clip art selections in Word

I type a newsletter for my clients and use/reuse a template from Microsoft
Word. When I want to insert clip art, I search for the appropriate images
and then on the rght hand side I get several selections. Unfortunately, I
don't see images until I actually paste them into my document. If I don't
like them, have to delete the image and then try another "mystery" clip art.

Why can't I see the actual pictures on these icons???

To add to what Rick said...

Try asking your question in one of the 29 Word groups that all start with
microsoft.public.word.

Good luck.

Thanks for giving me a little more info. than Rick--I am new to posting like
this, so wasn't sure where/whom to address my question. At least you pointed
me in a useful direction. Thanks.
